Hello!  And welcome to my website.  I'm glad you stopped by and I hope that you find the information contained in these pages enlightening and agreeable.  If you have any questions, or would like to contact me to set up an appointment to discuss your child care needs, please do not hesitate to do so.

My name is Stacey Welsh.  I am a responsible, loving mother of two and have been providing quality childcare in my home since 2000.  Prior to becoming an in-home child care provider, I worked for 3 daycare centers and nannied for 2 private families.   My professional goals include providing the best possible care for your child in an environment rich in learning and in love, along with being a resource for you in assisting to help raise a happy, healthy and well adjusted "little person".

There are many reasons why I became a Child Care Provider. First and most importantly, I love children and enjoy caring for them. Spending each day with children, teaching them and watching them grow and develop…that in and of itself is very fulfilling. I recognized a real need in this community for a quality child care program. I work very hard to make sure that your child is getting the best care possible.   Becoming a child care provider was not a decision I made lightly or without careful consideration and commitment.  I chose to become registered because being so shows my professional commitment to your children and to my business.

I am registered with the Iowa Department of Human Services as well as the Child Care Resource and Referral Center. This means that my home is inspected and deemed safe for your child to be cared for in my home. The DHS visits are both announced and unannounced to ensure an ongoing high quality of care. In order to maintain my license, I must be CPR and First Aid certified, I must attend Mandatory Child Abuse training, and I must have at least 10 hours of Early Childhood training each year.

I sincerely hope to hear from you soon!

Best wishes and warmest regards,

Stacey Welsh
